I’ve hung around woodshops and fabrication labs since I was a middle schooler. In college, I coded experimental games, made 3D animated films, hand-bound my own books, and took apart filing cabinets just to put the doors back on wrong. I’m a tinkerer and a problem-solver.
I’d traveled to more than 30 countries before age 25, breaking fast during Ramadan in Istanbul and scuba diving primordial cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula. My orientation toward each job, client, and wall is thus one of openness, curiosity, and discovery. Where do you want to be transported? A world where it’s eternally sunset, or maybe the deep dark depths of the Pacific? What are we celebrating? The resilience of a local immigrant community, or the survival of an endangered species?
I enjoy the challenge of doing something new, whether that’s working in layers of bronze detailing by hand or adding a stencil flourish to a public mural. If you have an idea, reach out—let’s make it happen!
